Pen can be used with 2 different types of Nano Channeling Cartridges or
a 12 Micro Needling Cartridges.
These two treatments are entirely different from each other as Nano
Needling has no down time and can be performed by an aesthetician or
beauty therapist as there are NO State
Board issues regarding this treatment, however, Micro Needling has to be
performed by a trained and qualified aesthetician, dermatologist or
plastic surgeon.
If you are going to be performing Micro Needling you will have to check
with your country and states regulations to see if you qualify to
perform this treatment. Eg: FDA CLAIMS: Estheticians can only use micro
needling devices of less than 0.3 mm and only those that do not make
medical claims. If you are qualified then you can go up to 2.5mm. It is
your responsibility to know this.

First, Nano Needling
I personally like to call this treatment
Nano Channeling because that is exactly what it does.
This advanced pain-free treatment stimulates collagen and elastin
production, increases cellular turnover, hydrates the skin, refines sun
damages skin, diminishes all types of scars, reduces fine lines and
wrinkles, improves skin tone and texture, refines enlarged pores and
totally rejuvenates the skin by painlessly creating thousands of
microscopic channels in the skin surface. Nano channeling tips are 1/3
thinner than a human hair and look like microscopic pyramid shaped cones
which are only 0.15mm in length.
Nano Channeling cartridges are available in surgical stainless steel or
silicone.
These microscopic channels allow up to
97% better product absorption at the time of the treatment and up to 15
minutes after the treatments has been completed. After 15 minutes these
tiny channels close up and lock in all the goodness.
Nano Channeling is painless, suitable for all skin types, has no down
time and requires NO numbing cream.
This treatment can be performed as a treatment on its own or added into
any facial treatment you offer.

Second, Micro Needling.
This treatment is also known as CIT, Collagen
Induction Therapy and
PCI, Percutaneous Collagen Induction.
Micro Needling treatments enhance collagen and elastin production, improves skin
texture and tone, reduces wrinkles, pigmentation, scars, pore size and
stretch marks. It will also increase hydration and firmness leaving the
skin revitalized and younger looking.
Micro Needling uses a 12medical grade sterilized
needle cartridge to create thousands of tiny puncture wounds to the
dermal level of skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural
wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased
collagen and elastin production which leaves the skin with a younger
looking after a period of 4 to 6 weeks.
Micro Needling can only be performed by a qualified aesthetician,
dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Numbing cream is required for this
treatment and there can be 12 to 48 hours of down time depending on
the depth of the penetration of the treatment which can range from 0.25
to 2.5mm. The deeper the depth, the longer downtime.
Treatments can be
done once every 6 to 8 weeks and no more than 6 times per year.
Nano Channeling treatments can be performed in-between Micro Needling
treatments.
Micro Needling treatments are stand alone and not encouraged to be
performed with any other facial treatment.
Knowing the skin
Knowing the skin and how it is constructed will help determine what
type of treatment is best for the client.
Nano Channeling only affects the epidermis, treating within the
upper 0.15 mm of the skin,
while micro needling can treat from 0.25 to 2.5mm below the skin
surface.
